General debate o' randomness and such.

So yeah, this is just going to be discussions, chat or whatever you fine people wish to talk about. Rants or ravings, questions, ideas... A real all-purpose mish-mash ^^

So, somethings that occured to me (and made me laugh) was the adverts on this site... "GoCompare dog insurance." "Siberean Husky Training" and "Real Husky Adventure" are titling my screen at the moment.

Yes, the advertisements try to match up to the site purposes as much as possible from the keywords used on the site. Needless to say, they fail very often.

It seems to focus on huskey's a lot... Are there any on this site?

Don't get me wrong, I love husky's hehe... I'd love to get one but my gf's more of a... Well, I guess you could say cat-person

I don't see any of these advertisements, I use Adblock Plus.

Everyone and their grandma uses an adblocker these days, unless they aren't very internet savvy.

iPod Nanocramatic. 8GB Third Gen I think, so no apps, no camera, and emphasis on shake shuffle feature.

I don't use an adblocker. Simply, most of the browser games I've enjoyed have been found via ad bars.

Mm, well adblock on my PC is useless, but it works fair on my new laptop, I tun bullguard security.

Alright away from that. This weekend I'm going to my first Anime and Gaming convention Anyone here been to, want to go to or intend to go to any type of con, and if so what?

They're REAL rare here in Ireland. Well NI at least.

I've been to events ranging from a college's SF/Fantasy/Anime convention to the big one, AnthroCon, to DragonCon and once, I made it to Britain for that big warhammer event I can never remember the name of. My chaos, they did not do so well.

I'm pretty much done with cons. The only thing that attracts me at all is the prospect of hitting the dealer room and spending money. I don't have that kind of disposable income anymore.

EDIT : Oh, and Total Confusion, which was AMAZING.
